Wenger Ambassador, Mike Horn created the Young Explorers Program (YEP) as a major element of his 4-year Pangaea Expedition - the goal is to educate the next generation of environmental ambassadors and leaders. These dynamic and diverse 15-20 year olds young people taking part at the YEP, have been chosen from hundreds of worldwide applications to follow Mike's "Explore, Learn, Act" approach in some of the most extreme and fragile environments. But their time with Mike and the other YEPs is only the beginning - they'll also carry the invaluable lessons they learn back to their homelands and deliver them to thousands of their contemporaries.
The latest Young Explorers Program expedition is currently taking place in Brazil where the group is exploring the flooded forests of the Amazon River basin.
